Pruning

Keep those trees looking trim and tidy with precise pruning. We will remove only as much as necessary to help your trees flourish. Often best carried out in Winter, though there are some exceptions!

Removal

Whether its reached the end of its life or outstayed its welcome when its time for a tree to go we will be there to remove it carefully and precisely. We manage all waste removal and will leave the site as tidy as the day the tree was planted.

Stump Treatment

After removal of a tree the stump may continue to grow. Chemical treatment is a safe and effective alternative to stump grinding that leaves the stump and roots in place to rot naturally, leaving a much needed home for all sorts of critters and creatures.

Crown Lift

Removing lower limbs off the main section of the tree improves the levels of light below and around the tree and can improve the appearance of the tree.

Crown Reduction

Reducing the crown of the tree whilst either keeping or correcting the shape. Often completed along with a crown lift to help control the space occupied.

Pollarding

A woodland management technique used to control the height of trees and produce very regular, straight growth which can be used for a variety of purposes. It can be used in domestic settings to prevent trees growing too large or 'messy'.

Coppicing

Another silviculture technique designed to produce tall, very regular growth however coppicing is started early on in the trees life and must be maintained regularly.
